WIN Foundation, in collaboration with VASCSC, launched the National Nutri-Garden School Competition 2026 in May 2026 to promote nutrition, sustainable agriculture, and experiential learning among school students. Open to Std. 3 to 12, the initiative encourages schools to develop chemical-free, eco-friendly Nutri-Gardens while understanding the link between soil health, agriculture, nutrition, and well-being. With around 200 applications, 95 schools qualified and 66 were shortlisted for implementation. Selected schools will receive ₹1,500 financial support, along with technical guidance and mentoring. The gardens will be monitored for innovation, sustainability, student participation, and nutrition learning. The National Award Ceremony is planned for December 2026.
As part of the competition/programme, a series of expert sessions is being organised for participating students and teachers. The first session was conducted by Dr. Lima Rosalind, Director, Green Future Foundation, focusing on soil health, organic matter, beneficial microorganisms, crop suitability, composting, and soil regeneration, with practical guidance for application in school Nutri-Gardens.

WIN Foundation is proud to continue its association with the National Bio Entrepreneurship Competition (NBEC) 2026 as the Nutrition & Health Category Partner. NBEC is a global platform that attracts, identifies, and nurtures bio-entrepreneurs developing novel, innovative, and scalable solutions with significant societal impact. The competition provides promising ventures with opportunities for recognition, attractive cash prizes, investment, mentorship, and access to a wider entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Nutrition & Health category received an overwhelming response from innovators and startups across India, showcasing a diverse range of cutting-edge solutions addressing key challenges in nutrition and healthcare. Following the initial screening, around 10 promising startups were shortlisted for the evaluation session held in July 2026, where the innovators presented their solutions before an expert jury. The shortlisted ventures were evaluated for their innovation, impact, scalability, business potential, and relevance to nutrition and health.
The journey culminated in the NBEC 2026 Grand Finale, held in Bengaluru in September 2026, where leading bio-entrepreneurs and innovators showcased their solutions before an ecosystem of experts, investors, mentors, and industry leaders.
