Ms. Priti Patel

• Co-founder of the Niswarth International Foundation. sets the overall direction of the foundation and approves its strategies and plans.

• An accomplished artist, specializing in oil paintings, and the owner of an interior design company, Sanskruti Designs LLC, which focuses on integrating the best of East-West cultures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from H.L. College of Commerce in Ahmedabad, India and Degree in graphic design from C.N. College of Fine Arts in India. She also spent a year in the University of Michigan studying graphic design.

Mr. Kanu Patel

• Guided and inspired his sons, Chirag and Chintu Patel to establish Amneal Pharmaceuticals Inc. in 2002 in New Jersey, USA, to provide affordable medicines to patients.

• An industrial pharmacist, worked for nine years as an Indian FDA investigator in India.

• Inspired his sons to achieve prosperity through hard work and conduct business with honesty and integrity.

• Founded two healthcare related companies in India before moving to the U.S. and joining Sidmak Labs.

• Kanu holds a BS from L.M. College of Pharmacy in Ahmedabad, India and is a New York registered pharmacist.

Mr. Ruyintan Mehta

• Serial entrepreneur in the plastics industry, started several plastic technology companies across US in New and Canada, ranging in size from 5 million to 34 million USD in sales.

• General Manager at Combustion Engineering Environmental (now ABB) and was President of an engineering services company in Flemington, NJ called Andersen Engineering Services.

• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Bombay, MS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut (1972), and in Engineering Administration from the University of Utah (1974).

• Instrumental in several public service initiatives: (i) co-chair of the Water initiative of WHEELS Global Foundation, a US non-profit started by IIT alumni residing in the US. (ii) volunteer mentor of SCORE Central Jersey, a non-profit resource arm of the US Small Business Administration. (iii) Past President of IIT Bombay Heritage Foundation and the former President of IIT Bombay Alumni Association Greater New York. (iv) President of IIT Gandhinagar Foundation.

Mr. Rajat Gupta

• • Chairman of WHEELS Global Foundation (WGF), Leadership and advisory roles in many other non-profits such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.

Mr.Paresh Vora, Director-India Operations

• Over 28 year experience in diverse high technology industries, including IT systems, peripherals, telecom, software and engineering. In his last corporate role, Paresh was Managing Director of the Indian subsidiary of Dover Corporation, a US Fortune 500 Publicly listed Engineering conglomerate, with a global R&D centre at Bangalore and manufacturing unit at Chennai. Other previous senior roles include being Managing Director of India subsidiary of Bridgeline (a US software company), Country Manager for Epson India, a unit of Seiko Epson Corporation, Japan and GM, Business Development, Sasken Communication Technology Ltd.

• After industry, worked in higher education sector for 7 years. Headed the project to set up TeamLease Skills University, Gujarat and was its first President. He then worked with Ahmedabad University, where he headed Quality Assurance for the University and earlier headed VentureStudio, the technology startup incubator at Ahmedabad University.

• Served on board of the IIT Bombay Alumni Association and was also President of IIMA Alumni Association – Ahmedabad chapter. Received Distinguished Service Award from IIT Bombay.

Mr.Sureshkumar Patel, Director, WIN INDIA

Mr. Sureshbhai Patel has over 40 years of Pharmaceuticals distribution business experience. He is also on the board of several Amneal Pharma and Kashiv group companies. He has an MSc (Maths) degree.

Mr.Abhishek Sen, Director, WIN-INDIA  

Abhishek Sen is one of the co-founders at Butterfly Learnings. Butterfly is a omnichannel, tech enabled, evidence based behaviour health platform for neurodiverse children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Learning disorders and other developmental disorders. Buttterfly delivers it services across 50+ centers in India with 400+ doctors and therapists. 

Prior to Butterfly, Abhishek was one of the co-founders of Biosense Technologies which is a leader in point of care diagnostics in India and was  acquired by Perkin Elmer in 2019. Abhishek has a background in medicine from BYL Nair Ch Hospital, Mumbai and engineering from IIT Bombay.

• Shanti Menon has experience of startups for over 9 years including program planning and execution, outreach to various stakeholders, grant management etc. She has worked in Ahmedabad University’s incubator for 4.5 years and handled several startup programs (student level, incubation level and accelerator level) and interacted with startups from multiple domains. She also coordinated interaction with Ahmedabad Angel Network, which was closely associated with Angel investments in startups. Since last 3 years, she has been associated with WIN Foundation and working as Manager - Programs and Outreach, looking after all institutional projects as well as community Projects.  She  is also actively interacting with startups in the domains of (i) Water and Sanitation and (ii) Maternal and Child Health).  

• Overall She has more than 25 years of experience in diverse roles.  

• Avisha Rana holds a master’s degree in Food Biotechnology from the PG Department of Home Science at Sardar Patel University, Anand. She has 1.5 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Assistant at Amulfed Dairy, Gandhinagar. For more than 2 years now, she has been a valuable asset to WIN Foundation as a Project Associate, where she oversees both institutional and community projects. Her responsibilities include product development, analysis, quality assurance and packaging, creating training modules and conducting trainings. In addition to her expertise in these areas, she is proficient in content writing, graphic design, and creating social media branding materials. 

Aishani is an architect, now working as a researcher-practitioner around water. She completed Bachelors in Architecture from CEPT University and M.Tech. in Water Resources Engineering and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies. She has over 5 years of experience working with NGOs and research organisations, works with WIN Foundation as a Project Associate, and also works with Veditum India Foundation as an Associate. Her interests include applied research, community engagement and skill training for participatory resource conservation. She was a Moving Upstream: Sindh fellow, and enjoys documenting field stories.
