WIN Foundation’s vision is an Empowered poor and lower middle-class communities across India, adopting innovations, in (i) Water and Sanitation (WATSAN) and (ii) Maternal and Child Health (MCH), to improve their quality of life and work, in a sustainable and scalable manner.
To achieve the above WIN Foundation strives for its Mission to (i) support technology, product, process and business/delivery model Innovations in the above domains for grassroots communities, (ii) empower local communities through skilling and micro-entrepreneurship to adopt these innovations, to better their quality of life, and (iii) act as a catalyst for scaling and replication of this adoption.
In a short span of 5 years, it has supported and funded:
Field projects with reputed NGO’s to reach the communities (like ACT, Saath, Samerth, VIKSAT)
Technology and product development at premier Institutions (IIT Gandhinagar, IIT Bombay and IITKharagpur, IIT Madras, IIT Hyderabad)
Over 15 technology startups for market access to enable product / prototype trials, refinement and validation with grassroots communities.
